CountProb application is developed for iPad. It is developed for educational purposes. Students, when taking statistics courses are struggling with problem solving. One of the main challenges is properly identify the problem to be solved. Not always problem’s verbal description is obvious and leads to the use of an appropriate formula or metodology. Definition of sample space, addition and multiplication rules for probability, conditional probability concept, and counting rules are just a few basic statistical concepts that students should know very well, and be able to recognize when solving real world problems. App generates random quizzes. After completing and submitting answers, student is receiving a feedback, which also allows to review the solution of the problems, identical to those, which student did not solve correctly.
